About Us

OUR STORY

Dad has been in the greenhouse business ever since he was a boy. In 1982, when he was 18, Dad built a single greenhouse beside grandpa’s produce farm market. He also went to farmer’s markets to sell his plants.

In 2007

To provide for the family, we bought our current location at 1555 Colebrook Rd. We did some extensive remodeling to make it into a retail operation.

In 2011

We purchased the adjoining 11 acres. We currently have over 30 greenhouses on it that we use for growing plants.

In 2012

We become a distributor for Nicolock Pavers that are manufactured in Frederick MD.

In 2014

Marked major changes at the store. We enlarged the parking lot & made a new entrance into the greenhouses. We also finished moving our plant growing operation to the adjoining field.

In 2019

We built a larger entrance in to the store and also expanded our indoor plant area.

Today, our Garden Center is open year round with flowers in the Spring, mums in the Fall, and poinsettias at Christmas. We also supply many local landscapers from our nursery & landscape supply yard.
