Cornus sericea 'Baileyi'

Product Description

Bailey Dogwood (Cornus sericea ‘Baileyi’)

Bailey Dogwood is known for its lovely red stems in wintertime. Additionally, it produces clusters of creamy white flowers in late spring. Its foliage is a clean dark green throughout the summer. In the fall these leaves turn a purple-burgundy before dropping. This is when Bailey Dogwood comes alive with bright red bark on its stems, standing out brilliantly against evergreen backdrops.

Dogwood Bush

Dogwood Bush are commonly known as Red Twig Dogwood (Cornus). They are known for their spring flowers and vibrant winter stems after their leaves fall. To maintain a gorgeous display, prune out old, dull stems in the late winter or early spring. Dogwood prefer full or partial sun. They are remarkably adaptable, but generally prefer moist, well-drained, and slightly acidic soil. Some varieties can even handle wet or boggy conditions. Dogwood are native to North America.
