Double Play Doozie®

Double Play Doozie® Spirea’s foliage emerges in shades of deep-red and lime-green in the spring. This foliage transitions to dark green in the summer. Compact, low-maintenance Doozie® is super easy-to-grow and durable in the summer heat. Doozie® has clusters of purple-red flowers, that are non-stop flowering and flowering all summer long! Doozie®’s flowers have a long vase life, so add them to your fresh cut arrangements! 

Spirea Bush

Spirea (spiraea) Double Play® Series are known for vibrant foliage and continuous flowering all summer. These shrubs maintain a nice, neat, compact shape without pruning, although you can take the old flower heads off if desired. We recommend fertilizing with Plant-tone in the spring. Spirea prefer full sun to partial sun and well-drained soil. They are extremely hardy and cold tolerant, making them an excellent go-to for gardens. Spirea look best planted along borders, as a specimen in your garden, or in a container.
