Fire Island Hosta
When the leaves emerge on the medium size ‘Fire Island’ they are a bright yellow with a red stem. As the summer comes the leaves turn to a pale green but the stems keep their red color. Once Mature the wide leaves are slightly corrugated. In midsummer the lavender flowers start to bloom. This is vigorous grower and does best in the shade.
