Hameln Fountain Grass has finely textured leaf blades. Soft, cream colored panicles begin to appear in midsummer which is several weeks earlier than other Ornamental Grasses. Hameln is especially beautiful when backlit by the early morning or evening sun. It looks best when planted in mass plantings, but also can be used as an accent plant in gardens and in containers.
Ornamental Grasses (Pennisetum) are easy to grow and maintain, making them an excellent choice for novice or experienced gardeners. They can be used for a specimen, for mass plantings, in containers, or along a pond’s edge. Adding textural contrast to perennial or shrub garden, Ornamental Grasses have a graceful, arching habit.
