Legend of the Fall Fothergilla

Legend of the Fall Fothergilla is spectacular for its autumn hues of yellow, orange, and red! In the spring before its leaves emerge, it features honey-scented white flowers. In the summer Legend of the Fall has dense, multi-stemmed blue-green foliage. In the fall, the foliage changes to yellow, orange, and red. Legend of the Fall bush thrives in moist soil and sunny areas, but adapts to shady areas as well. 

Fothergilla Shrub

Fothergilla (Bottlebrush), also known as Witch Alder, has stunning fall color with foliage shades of yellow, orange, and red. In mid-spring it produces white, honey-scented flowers that look like bottlebrushes. Fothergilla grows best in moist, rich soil and full to partial sun. It looks best planted along borders, as a hedge, or in woodland gardens. Fothergilla is native to North America.
