Miss Kim Lilac is prized for its intense flower fragrance! These lavender, icy-blue flower clusters appear in late spring, a little later than other Lilacs, and continue into the summer. Miss Kim Lilac will need pruning, but it has crucial timing. Be sure to prune it immediately after it’s finished flowering, to ensure flowering for the next year. This big, bold, and beautiful Lilac is easy-to-grow and durable in the summer heat. Plant Miss Kim now for that fragrant spring scent!
Lilac Bush
Lilac (Syringa) have exceptional disease resistance. They don’t get ugly from fungus and bacteria like older lilacs can. Lilacs have crucial timing when it comes to pruning, so make sure to prune them immediately after their spring flowers are finished. We recommend fertilizing this shrub with Plant-tone in the spring. Lilacs prefer full sun to partial sun and well-drained soil. They look best planted as a specimen in your garden where they have plenty of space to grow or planted as a low hedge.
