Weigela Shrub

Weigela are valued for their bell-shaped spring flowers and their diverse foliage colors! These shrubs maintain a rounded, mounding habit, but need pruning sometimes. Be sure to prune Weigela immediately after spring flowering, to encourage new growth for next year. They perform best in full sun to partial sun and well-drained soil. Few diseases affect these tolerant shrubs, making them an excellent go-to for gardens. Weigela look best planted along borders, as a specimen in your garden, or in a container.
