Norway Spruce has a distinctive pyramid-shape growth habit. Its sharp, short, dark green needles are arranged spirally on the branches. These branches are somewhat pendulous as they mature. This fast-growing evergreen is dense and thick and generally does not need pruning. As it reaches maturity, Norway Spruce generally produce long cones, which hang downward. Plant this shrub as a specimen, windbreak, or a privacy screen. 

Spruce Bush

Spruce (Picea) are low-maintenance and easy-to-grow. They are compact and dense, so generally do not need pruning. Their needle-like foliage makes them look stately planted in landscapes or as a privacy screen. These shrubs thrive in full sun and well-drained, slightly acidic soil. Drought tolerant and cold tolerant, these evergreens are extremely hardy. Planting Spruce is a sure way to keep your winter garden looking alive!
