Product Description

PJM Elite Star Rhododendron

PJM Elite Star Rhododendron has large clusters of bright purple flowers. These flowers appear in early spring contrasting well with the glossy green foliage. Elite Star takes very little to no pruning, except removing its finished flowers if you so desire. This compact bush is very hardy and low maintenance. It will grow anywhere, but prefers shady areas with acidic, well-drained soil. It is good to fertilize Elite Star with Holly-tone in the spring to give it a boost.

Rhododendron Shrub

Rhododendron are popular for their ability to grow in deep shade. They are also known for their huge, vibrant flowers! Rhododendron thrive in acidic, well-drained soil. They are extremely easy to grow and low-maintenance. Although usually not needing pruning, you can prune these bushes immediately after spring flowering. Rhododendron look best planted along a border, as a stand-alone specimen, or in a privacy hedge.
