Ranunculus, Persian Buttercup, features cup-shaped, peony-like flowers from early spring into summer. These vivid flowers can grow up to 4″ across and stand tall above green, parsley-like foliage. Ranunculus love the cool spring weather, and go dormant by hot summer. With their upright habit, they reach a height and width of 12″. They look best in containers, cutting gardens, or planted along borders. Ranunculus is a good choice for early spring, when it’s too cold for other flowers.
