The Sister Redhead® Scotch broom has scarlet red flowers in spring. Each intricate bloom is dotted with a tiny yellow beak which makes the red pop. After it blooms, the wiry green stems are covered in tiny leaves adding a textured look to it. Sister Redhead loves sunny, dry conditions.
Scotch Broom (Cytisus scoparius) have small vibrant flowers and wiry green foliage. They thrive in hot, dry, and sunny areas. Scotch Brooms can also tolerate wind, salt, and infertile soil. These deer resistant plants are also native to North America.
