Endless Summer® Sky View® Hydrangea was 2024 Hydrangea of the Year! Its flowers start as honey-dew green, maturing to a showy display of blue, pink, or lavender blooms, depending on the soil pH. This compact bush requires little maintenance, while still giving your flower beds that pop of color. Sky View® excels in containers or small gardens, preferring morning sun and afternoon shade.

Hydrangea Shrub

Hydrangeas (macrophylla) are cherished for their large, mophead flowers. They bloom on both old wood and new wood every year. This trait provides more continuous color from spring through fall. Hydrangea (macrophylla) have a unique ability to change color. Blue flowers require acidic soil and pink flowers require neutral soil. So you can apply aluminum sulfate to encourage blue flowers or garden lime if you want pink flowers. Preferring partial sun, Hydrangeas (macrophylla) are adaptable to many soils with moderate moisture. Hydrangeas look best planted in containers, along borders, or as a specimen in your garden.
