Strictus Ornamental Grass, also know as Porcupine Grass, gets its name from its stiff, upright habit. Its vertical, columnar form makes it a perfect fit for both small and large spaces. Strictus has arching, bold blades that do not flop. With its horizontal yellow and green striping, Strictus Grass is a unique variation of the popular Zebra Grass. It will take a lot of hot summer sun for this Grass to produce pinkish-bronze plumes that mature to a fluffy silver. These plumes are perfect for cutting and using in dried flower arrangements in the fall.
